Suede tips for pointe shoes

Here at Encore we recommend that you either darn the ends of your pointe shoes or stick on sude tips.

This helps the satin from ripping, prevent slipping on the floor and keeps your shoes longer.

We also offer a darning service at just £7.00 per pair

A must for all ballroom dancers!

Help your shoes last longer by investing in a sueded brush.  Many dance halls use powder or are a little on the dusty side.  By brushing the soles of your shoes and keeping them fresh you will prevent them from going shiny, which then leaves the shoes slippy.

Pro Pad

Encore recommends the use of the pro pad for toe protection for pointe work.

The top of the pad is covered with gel to protect the top of the metatarsal area from friction associatred with pointe work that can cause abrasion

The reason we recommend these pads is because there is no gel on the underneath of the pad thus enabling the dancer to have better contact of the floor through her feet
